Radhapur
The place where I spent my babyhood.
A small village in the district of Purba Medinipur, around 140 km from Kolkata. A peaceful and chanting rural area with green meadows in monsoon and yellow-brown medows in the harvesting season. My grandparents live there and I visit there on holidays. I used to take bath in the ponds and cycle around the village. I also loved to do fishing. I used to play cricket and badminton when I used to visit there during my childhood. I loved to gossip and play with my cousins and other relatives. Rathyatra, one of the greatest festival is celebrated here during the month of February.
