Susunia

If you wish to do trekking, but never did before, Susunia Hills can be one of the best place to start your trekking diaries. Two hills side by side with amazing trekking paths and a mysterious waterfall with the most clearest, sweetest and healthiest water supply.

Located around 20 kms from Bankura town, it is one of the most beautiful and quite adventurous tourist spot. This place has a mysterious waterbody. This place is full of snakes. While climbing the hills, one would definitely here some of them saying, “Hello”, in their hissing language. The roads from Bankura town to Susunia Hills, yet another enjoying journey with beautiful sights.

Unfortunately, no one knows where the water comes from and where it goes. Water flows at a constant pace throughout the year with the same sweetest taste. When I drank the water for the first time, I could not believe my tongue that it tasted better than packaged mineral water. Well, getting into the trekking paths. Two hills, smaller one with a height of around 600 meters and bigger hill with a height of around 1000 meters has one of the most beautiful trekking paths. Covered with trees and at the top, long brown grasses and just imaging walking through a small path in between these. Some part of the trek is little steep, but that adds fun to this.
