Beaches near Contai

Hue Hue Hue! Hey there, living in a town close to the sea is so wonderful. Evening gossips? Put your helmet, plug in your keys, ride your bike and lets go to the beach. Well not the traditional tourist beaches. Lets go somewhere empty on the sand. Sometimes during the summer evenings you may get a chance to sea the beach covered with red creatures, the red sea-crabs, looking as if the beach covered with red sand. During the sunset, the sky adds another redness to the scenery.

Shells are common on the beaches. Once I got lucky enough to find a jellyfish on the beach. It looks so wonderful as if stars were imprinted on a transparent body.

Previously the Baguran-Jalpai beach was quite isolated and one can easily take the pleasure of watching red-crabs making a red layer on the beach during the summer or spring evenings. But, now the beach is renovated for public and it has been started crowding. Red crabs are now hardly visible. However, fews things do not change, the sound of waves can be much better listened to than the other tourist beaches and the scenery during sunset is no wonder one of the best.

Playing with volleyballs on the beach with friends. Yet another powerful addiction. Sometimes, we do not even need a volleyball, an empty bottle can be a makeshifter. Sit on the empty sand. Listen to the waves. So peaceful, isn't it? At the end lie down on the sand. Let the waves touch you periodically. It feels so peaceful. Enjoy the moment. Now you get up man! Enough of fun. Go wash your back, of sand.

Laal-Kagra Beach (literally translates to Red-Crab Beach), close to Mandarmani beach and one of the beaches with mindblowing scenery. One can find the fishing boats and after the sunset, the twinkling lights on the boats produces a fascinating beauty along with the moon in the sky. The redish scenery with red-crab covered sand and red-orange sky during the sunset, give an impression like we are on Mars.

Now as a Skywatcher and aspiring Astronomer, another stuff that I love doing at the beaches is stargazing. After the sunset, one can easily watch constellations and bright stars due to less light pollution at some of the isolated beaches. Exciting ahaa! Unfortunately, I do not have a telescope, but I will get one soon.
